GYMNASTICS CHOREOGRAPHY
Choreography is the art of making and teaching dances. It is the planning and arranging of body movements into patterns and shapes. For Lisa, it feels a lot like writing a song. Indeed, music and dance share many aspects in common: tempo, timing, rhythm, phrasing, self-expression, and the stirring of human emotions. Together, music and dance can create a powerful human experience.
Perhaps this is why choreography has been a passion for Lisa since her own days as a gymnast. She has created hundreds of floor exercise routines over the past 20+ years for all levels of club, high school, and collegiate gymnasts, including several individuals who achieved titles as state floor champions and runner-ups. Lisa takes pride in telling a story through the music, while highlighting the personality and individual strengths of each gymnast.

In her days as a gymnast Lisa competed at the NCAA Division I level as a 4-year starter at the University of Illinois on a full athletic scholarship. In her Senior year, she was elected co-captain and received the U of I Outstanding Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.
These days Lisa lives in Palatine, is married to Tony, and spends her time raising their three kids, dancing like nobody's watching, and writing and playing songs.
